About this project
Common Calendar is a student project. It isn't affiliated with Boston College, endorsed by BC, or run by anyone at the university. BC has nothing to do with what shows up here and isn't responsible for any of it.
What it is
One page for everything happening on campus. Right now that information is spread across EagleSync, department mailing lists, Instagram stories, and posters in Mac. Most events get found by accident, if at all.
Where the events come from
Most come from EagleSync's public feed, which only goes about a month ahead. Longer schedules like football and hockey we add by hand. Someone reads every event before it goes up.
So the calendar is incomplete, and it will stay that way as long as it depends on clubs posting somewhere public. If we're missing something, telling us is the fastest way to get it added.
Mistakes
We copy times and locations straight from the source, mistakes and all. Double-check with the organizer before you count on anything here, especially if a time looks wrong.
Telling us something
Use the feedback link on the calendar. It's anonymous and there is no reply address, so whatever detail you include is all we have to go on. See Privacy for what gets stored.
